Chad Barr Named CRRA Information Technology Manager

Charlotte, North Carolina, Dec. 14, 2004 – The Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association (CRRA) announces Chad Barr as their new information technology manager. Barr’s duties include computer networking, evaluation and assessment of the associations’ technological needs and network security.

“We are very pleased to have Chad at the association,” says Steve Byrd, vice president and chief information officer of CRRA. “He has excellent technological skills — especially in the area of security — he is truly an asset to our organization.”

Before joining CRRA, Barr worked for Atlantic Assurance and owned C&A Enterprises. He has earned four technology certifications: MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), CSSA (Certified SonicWall Security Administrator), TICSA (TrueSecure ICSA Certified Security Associate) and CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker). He is currently working on his CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
