Who’s Who Historical Society Recognizes Chad Barr
Charlotte, NC., Oct 25th , 2001 – Who’s Who Historical Society recognizes Chad Barr as one of it’s newest members to appear in the 2001/2002 edition of International WHO’S WHO of Information Technology, having demonstrated exemplary achievement and distinguished contributions to the business community.
Chad is no stranger to the Who’s Who Historical Society; he was also listed in the 1994 and 1995 edition of WHO’S WHO Among American High School Students. Barr graduated from King’s College early in 1996 with honors to pursue a job at Kaiser Fluid Technologies. Kaiser Fluid Technologies (KFT), a subsidiary of Rockwell Collins, is a leading supplier of valves and actuators for aircraft and turbine engine applications. KFT has more than 40 years of experience in the development, design, and manufacturing of precision aircraft hydraulic pneumatic components used world wide on military, commercial, and general aviation aircraft. Chad moved is way up the ladder from an intern student to become MIS Coordinator. While at KFT he was involved in many projects including implementing a company wide database designed by Lilly Software Associates, Inc. that incorporates Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Quality Management capabilities called Visual Manufacturing®.
Mr. Barr left KFT to start InfoData Solutions, Inc. in 1998. InfoData Solutions, Inc. (IDSI) is an information technology-consulting firm, specializing in custom application development and network engineering. IDSI specializes in Windows NT/2000 networking and intergrading Microsoft BackOffice suite of server based products. In 2000 IDSI merged with another company and formed C&A Enterprises.
Mr. Barr as President and Founder of C&A Enterprises also works as a Systems Administrator for the technology division of Atlantic Assurance Group located in Charlotte, NC. Atlantic Assurance Group is a family of companies that provides public record reporting, title insurance, closing services, residential real estate valuation products, flood zone reporting and other real estate information services to refinance first mortgage and home equity lenders nationwide. As a Systems Administrator he is responsible for the maintenance of LAN/WAN, and SQL Database activities, assists with joint ventures, and is in constant contact through visitation to eleven branch offices and is involved with the implantation of their custom vendor management software ATLAS Enterprises™.
Mr. Barr is currently pursuing his Microsoft Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Database Administrator (MCDBA), and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications. In his free time he enjoys SCUBA diving, swimming and keeping up with the latest advances in technologies.
